"textContent": "> > I regretfully used chrome\n>\n> I don't go to Amazon.com all that often and don't remember exactly what the issue is, but it's on my list of sites (16 of 'em) where I pretty much have to use Chromium. So it's not really a case of \"regretfully;\" if I gotta use it, I just use it. Don't like \"gotta\", but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm surviving the situation.\n\nPart of what I say is\n\n**Off-topic:**\nslightly off-topic, I might open a diiferent thread on it (i.e. fallback altenrate browser). My list of sites to use chrome _without regret_ are WebRTC (google-meet and zoom) and some google sites in the case they do not work with Pale Moon (usually they do). No problem in logging (institutionally) in to google to accesss google services. I regret in other cases ... which at the moment amounts to three e-commerce sites (one is our national railways) when one goes t the payment method, and one discourse forum. I would deeply regret if it would include my bank.\n\nComing back to amazon, I've used amazon.it three times in my life, and I use amazon.de twice per year (sending books as presents to friends in Germany). So far I had no problems. The problem occurred last time is in a very specific point, i.e. when one has to choose a payment method, and specifically adding a new (one shoot virtual) credit card. This used to expand in the same page, now (as seen in chrome) it opens insteaqd a popup window. So maybe it could be some of my preferences on popups, or on cookies (I run cookies exterminator), or uBlock Origin.\n\n* * *",
