I'm afraid you won't find it here. While I can't speak for Basilisk-Dev, I will no longer spend time on trying to troubleshoot any "silly conflicts" arising from a known-bad extension that, IMO, should be hard-blocked in any UXP-based application. Aside from the obvious issues with a "simple interface" for what is inherently a tricky thing to do right, its structure and use of platform internals in a very uninformed and dangerous way (not to mention obfuscated, pretty questionable blobs of code contained within it, see other threads) just make it a Bad Idea™ to keep using.

If you need something right away, migrate to a maintained and known-good extension. If you want a modified version of ematrix, then you or anyone else with the skill can do it -- it's Open Source -- and publish a fork of it for all those NoScript users with a hunkering for a minimalist control surface.
