"textContent": "I think it's still possible to have the \"personal touch\" with the internet as communication medium. Videotelephony is perhaps the best real-time example. My grandma in the US regularly video calls my family every week via Viber (for some reason she refuses to use Facebook Messenger and I doubt she knows or cares about the privacy controversies around Facebook but hey I'm not going to complain if it means not using any FB product ). I still remember my relatives keeping in touch with their parents overseas via Skype...\n\nHell I doubt that plenty of my hobbies and interests would be a thing if the internet didn't exist. Whether that'd be a past, current, or future interest. It may be hard to discover _new_ , genuinely interesting stuff right now but I doubt I will run out of stuff I haven't discovered for myself yet, even if you exclude everything made in 2020 onwards.\n\n* * *",
