Forum and website • Disappeared private messages?

I've received notification about private message yesterday, but message link is broken. Is that some bug or it's intended? Someone reads and deletes private messages? Searching for sending username gets some profiles in internet, but not on this forum, so it's likely to be some deleted user, even not banned profile...
