Web Compatibility Support • Re: Is Yahoo! Mail officially dead letter (extinct) with PaleMoon?
There is also a non-zero chance that email itself can contain active scripting when viewing in webmail. I never use webmail for those reasons unless I have no other access, and don't use "free" email services when I do. Paying a small amount each year for an essential service to get something without these risks is well worth it, but of course you can do you
I abandoned webmail about the same time that I switched to Pale Moon, and Tutanota’s resistance to supporting it was among the reasons I switched to Posteo. The latter’s web client is the only way for me that I know, using Claws Mail, to reject unwanted messages according to manual filters; I have only been able to find how to put messages in the dustbin using client-native filters, but Bogofilter also deposits spam there.
