Quiet bunpaca month (end of the month blog post - 31.05.2026)

Gosh it's that time of the month again? Can't believe it...

Welcome to yet another end of the month blog post! As you can see after a hot minute I finally have a Social Preview Thumbnail! It was a nice way of getting back into drawing after a couple of weeks! (I'll be talking about it in a bit.) I'll be posting the textless version of it later this upcoming week.

Anyways, let's get into what happened this month! As usual we'll start with what happened on my side of things.

Surprisingly it has been... a quiet month for me in general. Nothing new really.

The only thing that happened on my side of things is that this month I took a break from drawing for two weeks. I really wanted to be productive a lot but turns out dealing with so much horrors for the past few months was too much for me to handle... so I decided to use that time to rest and recharge.

I did have a nice rest though so I'm confident that I'm ready to get back into the swing of things (for real this time hopefully...)

Oh yes, I also got a haircut! I wish I could show you but unfortunately for Obvious Reasons(tm) I'm no longer posting my selfies outside of artistic things. But I do love the result and the difference is noticable and significant!

That's pretty much everything that happened on my side of things this month!

Tomorrow though is gonna be rough for us for a little while because we'll be losing our hot water for 10 days for the yearly maintenance reasons and I'm absolutely not looking forward to that... I know we'll manage but this is gonna be a pain in the ass... originally it was supposed to be on May 12th but for some reason it got delayed to tomorrow so considering the weather here... fun times ahead for a while :')

And now... general stuff.

Boy oh boy, this year just keeps getting wild and so are things huh?

Art Fight decides to be a complete circus and do the worst thing by not allowing using your own taken photos (yes you heard it right) and 3D references, which is such a letdown to a lot of us... thankfully they've opened a feedback form for that rule so hopefully they'll listen and reverse that change because it's my most favorite time of the year and I'd be devastated.

Man, Bluesky just keeps being a complete circus as well (no surprises here, but wow!)

With making account-wide labelling even worse (I know it has been a thing for a long time but it just destroys the purpose now) it's only a matter of time until the site/app collapses completely...

Despite everything I'm gonna remind you once again I'm not leaving anytime soon and I'm gonna keep doing my thing, but at the same time also another reminder that I'm active on Mastodon and also recently revived my Sheezy early than planned so go follow me on those too. I'm so glad I'm back there again because holy fuck. It's a dumpsterfire :)

So... with Pride Month coming tomorrow I just wanna say to anyone and who's especially in America: please stay safe out there. It's really rough there right now.
