Princess introduced solo cabins on the Sun and Star Princess, and it seems they may be expanding to other ships in the fleet during their drydock maintenance.

The Royal Princess will gain five solo cabins , by repurposing a portion of the launderettes on many decks.

In addition, two interior rooms are scheduled to be added on Emerald deck, E1001 and E1003. I'm not certain if these are new staterooms, or if Princess is repurposing existing crew cabins.
