"textContent": "Bhaelros:\n\n> Same reason why far right party AfD is gaining popularity in Germany. No one is against taking the refugees, but if you let people in without checking their background, without giving them proper places to “temporary” stay, throw money at them while your own citizens fight for rent prices, lack of housing, inflation, taxes, retirement funds, etc, that will cause an uproar. This is not racism, this is logical thinking.\n\nOfftopic\n\nThis cannot stand. AFD stands for “Alternative for Germany.” Many people are disappointed with politics and want to really show those in power what they think. In Germany, many genuine Nazi parties have already been banned, such as the “NPD” or “Dritter Weg.” The members of these parties are all members and voters of the AfD and have a very strong presence on social media. That’s why it’s perceived as a Nazi party. But since the AfD doesn’t explicitly distance itself from these Nazis and accepts their campaign support, it can certainly be described as a Nazi party.\n\nThe worst part is that this party has absolutely no intention of doing anything for the poor and marginalized people in the country. It’s a party for the rich and corporations. It wants to weaken labor protections, encourage capital flight, and, in return, defame and marginalize people who have nothing or who have fled here. This is a phenomenon that is spreading across all European countries at roughly the same time. Coincidence? To that end, any means are justified. The Nazis on social media spread endless lies to incite hatred. They turn isolated incidents into the norm and try to portray themselves as victims in every situation.",
