AI itself is not necessarily a privacy violation; there are healthcare-focused and HIPAA-compliant AI tools available. The same is true of Google Workspace (in reference to your other thread) and, in some circumstances, WhatsApp. Is it possible they are using personal Google, WhatsApp, or AI accounts in a way that would violate HIPAA? Certainly. But based on what you’ve described, there isn’t enough information to determine that. Most medical practices make at least some effort to use systems designed to comply with applicable privacy requirements. The better question may be to ask what software or service was used to generate the infographic and how patient information is handled within that system.
