I am looking for a habit maker for android

Does Loop Habit Tracker need to be updated every couple months? It’s a pretty basic app as it is and quite functional. If this misses updates due to Android SDK moves (specifically, not adopting new Android APIs and not removing ancient Android support), I’d be more concerned. This essentially looks like it’s functionally complete.
