  "textContent": "I’m not positive either way since I don’t use Google Messages, but there’s probably a setting to disable cloud storage if it does. You’d need to trust that Google is honoring the setting though.\n\nYou’d probably need to do the same on the Apple Watch, since I think it can back up messages to iCloud as well.",
