Best alternative search engine option that actually works?

FYI, I just did a basic query with “test” and ended up with a bunch of repeated results for some random Russian domain (among some other random domains that I doubt anyone is interested in). Not sure if it’s slightly different addresses with the same content or if it’s actually just repeating the same address, but in any case, I’d probably expect stuff like that to get collapsed into one result. The ranking is definitely off though.
