Apple not sharing data with third parties

This is a minor observation that might not warrant a new thread, but I thought it was pretty neat and wanted to share. After renting a car online and purchasing insurance coverage for it on my iphone, I received an email that stated: “If you used an Apple device when you purchased RentalCover, your details might not have been shared with us so it is very important you activate your account by clicking the link above.” I’m forced to use an iphone due to circumstances and I’m always skeptical of Apple’s claims of privacy, so this was a nice little evidence that appeased my iphone privacy concerns a bit.
