Wish for "clean" Brave Browser

Autoupdates does not equal spyware, and in fact is essential to improving the security of the browser (especially on operating systems that don’t have package managers that update stuff for you, like windows).

Yeah, but not giving the user a way to disable a background process that’s constantly hitting the network is just wrong. Windows also has a built-in package manager that comes by default.

Brave Search has been the default search engine on brave since october 2021 (coincidentally around the time this article was last updated)

Some regions still use Yandex by default, which is worse than Google. I tested this about a year or a year and a half ago with a RU IP, and Yandex is still the default search engine.
