I’m sure someone will come in here and chime in about this situation and explain it, I don’t remember exactly what it’s about because it’s been so long, but Brave is well aware of this, and they actually do this for a reason apparently. I don’t remember where the article was, it might’ve been on their github, but I just remember reading it and thinking “oh, that makes sense.” but if memory serves me correct, I think it has to do with the fact that it leaves some clues, because hiding everything can break sites and can actually make you stand out more. This should not be confused with TOR or Firefox fingerprinting, because that’s a whole different beast.
