Bitwarden scrubs ‘Always free’ and ‘Inclusion’ values from its website as longtime execs step down

Does or did Bitwarden do something that would endanger self-hosting Bitwarden servers? I can only see that they shift more to premium users, which is fine for me, but not if they go away from their “open source” system or make self-hosting harder/impossible.
