@viktorivpn Safing decided to move their UI stack from Electron → Tauri in Portmaster v2 before IVPN acquired it. I see the IVPN desktop client app is in need of an Electron update [1] [2]. Are you planning to change the UI stack to Tauri to minimize the binary size and the need to ship a new app version every time a browser engine security issue arises? Some users raised privacy concerns about the move to Tauri [3] [4] [5] but I don’t think it’s that serious. MS Edge WebView runtime comes pre-installed in Win 11. Oh! You should also update the outdated Readme.md for Portmaster GitHub page. “The main UI still uses electron as a wrapper”
