The strongest accurate version is that Brendan Eich appears to have been listed in an old Crunchbase related data as an advisor. That is very different from saying Brave is tied to Palantir, controlled by Thiel, or somehow compromised by that connection. Same situation with that founders fund.\n\nIf someone wants to criticize Brave, fine, but they should stick to current, direct evidence instead of turning an old advisory listing into a giant conspiracy shaped snowball.",
