"textContent": "### Website\n\nVDO.Ninja\n\n### VDO.Ninja\n\nBring live video from your smartphone, computer, or friends directly into OBS Studio or other. 100% free.\n\n### Short description\n\nI would like to add vdo.ninja for consideration to a proposed videoconferencing section. This tool is primarily aimed at advanced users, but there is a lot to like.\n\nLike Jitsi, it can be self-hosted. Unlike Jitsi, no account is needed to use their infrastructure. It’s built to work with OBS, but you don’t need to use that feature. You can use it for 1:1 (or small group) calls.\n\n### Why I think this tool should be added\n\nIt reasonably matches the current list of requirements at the time of writing:\n\n * Allows to join calls via links without registration for people who join the host.\n * Accounts are not required to host or join. Rooms can be locked to specific emails or email domains if desired.\n * Enforces use of end to end encryption for both the video stream and if applicable the chat.\n * This can be done with the `e2ee` setting. Certain elements are encrypted without the `e2ee` setting.\n * Does not require an app to join the call and must be available on cross platform.\n * This is true.\n * Must allow for to join calls on Linux, MacOS, Windows, Android, and iOS through browser or app.\n * This is true.\n * Must offer background blurring\n * Background blurring can be enabled with `backgroundblur` and there are 20 intensity settings. Other background types are also supported.\n * Must not require to enable video and allow audio only calls.\n * This is true.\n * Must offer a mute option\n * This is true.\n * Must offer to disable recording or have no recording\n * There is no recording by default. Recordings can optionally be captured.\n * Must offer to disable transciptions and AI assistants or not have them.\n * Not applicable.\n\n\n\nAdditionally, the application is open source and can be self-hosted.\n\n### Section on Privacy Guides\n\nVideoconferencing",
