My grievances with Proton

Off topic (click for more details) I think this topic might need to be closed. At the end of the day if I stop paying my cell plan, mortgage or any other service I am under no illusion that I am entitled to keep using the services for free. I don’t see why proton would be expected to provide a service that they charge others for, but give OP it for free because you have used it for a period of time. If Proton offered a lifetime plan and then decided to revoke your plan because they wanted more money, I feel you would have a very valid case. But a subscription plan is just that, a subscription. There’s no ownership to it and it shouldn’t be expected.
