Is Ubuntu Becoming the New Windows?

I don’t know if this will still be relevant by the time the live stream happens, but at the time of posting this comment Much, if not all of Ubuntu and Canonicals infrastructure appears to be down. I haven’t personally vetted everything claimed/stated in the blog, but it does seem compelling. I don’t really have a specific question regarding this incident, but it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.
