The economy is not there for me to throw token gestures, also I have the privilege of not having a severe threat model so I get by with most free offerings. So to enumerate what I currently pay for:\n\n  * VPN. Free doesn’t cut it, whether it’s lack of control over features / servers or small data caps.\n  * Storage. Need quick ways to pool resources with family so it’s worth it.\n  * Note taking. This one is a bit of a luxury I have to admit. But free options are very limiting.\n\n\n\nThat’s it, aliases and email, among other things I manage within free tiers.",
