"textContent": "Personally, I’d put JNCO Jeans and Crazy Frog above AI for most horrible inventions ever.\n\nBut also, if AI stagnates exactly where it is now, we still won’t know how truly damaging it is to society until at least a decade or two when we have all the data trends over a generation.\n\nSort of like when people say “[Current Political Leader] is the worst ever”, when it takes a long time to see the full effect of policy and actions for a nation or world overall. We’re still witnessing the entire fallout from Presidents like Bush, specifically around the post-911 National Security laws that impact civilian privacy.\n\nBut generally, I would agree. I’m hopeful the damage will reverse, and areas like Education are pivoting away from student laptops and back to physical textbooks after 10-15 years of seeing student scores drop globally.",
