  "textContent": "This should have more visibility. Around the time of the original post, Github **opted everyone into Copilot services**. Since then they have changed the location of this setting at least once (it is possible I was in an A/B test).\n\nGo to _Settings_ → _Copilot: Features_ → “ _Allow GitHub to use my data for AI model training”_ → Select Disable from the drop down if it’s enabled.\n\nI did not see the Agent settings turned on by default. Those are under _Settings_ → _Copilot: Cloud Agent._\n\nThe very limited trust I had left in Github has been completely eroded. I found out by chance. I just happened to go into my settings the day after they did this and found it on. I would not have known about this. I didn’t get that email.",
