Would You Pay $60 For A Browser? (ft. Firewalls Don't Stop Dragons)

This stuff isn’t a problem though. I can’t tell you how many features exist in apps I use every single day that I don’t use, don’t care about, and barely even notice. That’s true for pretty much everyone. And normally, nobody treats that as some huge issue. To me, extra features only become a real issue when they get in the way, slow things down, or make the core experience worse. But if they’re just there and people can ignore them, I don’t see why that should be treated like some major problem. And in the case of brave, once you spend a minute or so switching the stuff off, you forget it it’s even there. And there’s no performance hit with it whatsoever by it being in there. But for some reason, there’s this very vocal group of people who only want a browser to be a browser and nothing else, and Brave has decided to rightfully capitalize on that monetize them.
