Carbon Copy Cloner

Does anyone use Carbon Copy Cloner for backups? There are some advantages over Time Machine, so was going to use both (on different drives). However, when I went to download, you seem to have to agree to collection of data about your devices with no opt out. It’s also not Open Source. I think I’m answering my own question but would welcome the thoughts of people with much more knowledge and experience than me! Thank you!
