Brave Launches Paid, Bloat-Free "Brave Origin"

Paying to disable certain browser features? There’s no real benefit for the person buying it, because the features are still there in the browser and haven’t been removed. It would have been better if they had gone with a donation-based model, released a different version, and removed the beta version. That would have resulted in three versions (Full Brave: Stable and Nightly—Stable Brave “Origin”), better focus, and possibly slightly better quality, with donation support. It’s a shame the company did that. Spending money for no reason is a terrible mistake.
