"textContent": "I agree with Pine above, knowing a little more would help us to help you where we can.\n\nmadiha:\n\n> However, I am having trouble deciding which one would better suit my needs. I care about video quality, motion detection accuracy, storage options and ease of use. Privacy features and reliable alerts would be a bonus too.\n\nI don’t want to dash your hopes. But I think your question would be better suited for maybe a tech reviewer. I’ve done a quick search on YouTube and there appears to be reviews you could check out.\n\nI say this as you are looking at products that I don’t think many in the community would use.\n\nieGeek is a relatively unknown Chinese Company and Canary looking at the Privacy policy, has Arlo listed as a data controller. Not sure if Canary is a sister company to Arlo, but would at least mean you need to trust two companies privacy policies and TOS.\n\nIf you are looking for easy privacy with your other requirements, you could look at the Apple Home ecosystem. However I do think its a very expensive endeavor.\n\nOtherwise, if privacy is not the top concern. Maybe look at some tech reviews on YouTube demoing the products, if functionality and reliability is your main concern.",
