"textContent": "seize:\n\n> then there has been no communication from the Privacy Guides team, or forum moderators around what came out of this topic in regards to the Privacy Guides team and forum moderators\n\nThis is pretty typical as @win11.shading291 noted it takes a while… and as @jonah has said he will not put any sort of SLA on answering matters, so don’t expect an improvement on this.\n\nwin11.shading291:\n\n> It took PG 3 months to answer here: Remove ProtonVPN - #143 by anonymous549\n\nIt would be nice if @jonah could circle back and give some updates about the subsequent posts such as…\n\nProtonVPN Additional note: Killswitch failure and IP Leakage on Linux Site Development\n\n> I’m going to mark this topic (which is specifically about adding a warning to Proton VPN about this issue) as approved, because I think it is fairly reasonable for us to do, and it seems like the maximum that people in this thread are willing to do about this issue alone. So, (and I’m of course requesting this of myself or the rest of the team or anyone here, not you specifically) a PR adding this warning would be appreciated. I think the question of whether we should have additional guidanc…\n\nThis seems closest one to being completed with it being approved but I do not think the additional warning has actually been added.\n\nHow should we handle Proton's misleading marketing? Site Development\n\n> Just an update, currently at minimum I think nobody disagrees that update: Warning about Proton kill switch on macOS by jonaharagon · Pull Request #3205 · privacyguides/privacyguides.org · GitHub should definitely be done, so I’m merging that PR in the interest of updating our site quickly. However, I won’t mark this as completed since of course we’re still discussing additional changes on top of that, including potentially update!: Remove ProtonVPN by jonaharagon · Pull Request #3203 · privacy…\n\nThis one they are “still discussing”.\n\nWhat should we require of VPN providers on macOS? Site Development\n\n> The discussion surrounding Remove ProtonVPN - #332 by ph00lt0 is so random and all over the place, that I am not even going to attempt to sort it out and try to move some posts over here. See: I think the main question is: Should we require providers to use hacky workarounds like pfctl filters on macOS instead of standard tools the OS provides? It feels like the answer is probably no, but if anyone wants to continue this discussion then this is a fine place to do so.\n\nThis one has no solution so I guess that is still being discussed as well.\n\nwin11.shading291:\n\n> This is the topic in question.\n\nI don’t really know what should be expected of this topic. I had assumed any sort of resolution would be internal anyway. I doubt they are going to be explicit about this just because users love to lawyer about any moderator action, where its made it a bit of a “boy cried wolf” situation when there is a complaint.\n\nwin11.shading291:\n\n> There’s also a trend where lots of veteran users are not posting much anymore.\n\nThis has been the worst thing to happen to the forums. There has been a massive brain drain of qualified users and, the ones that remain have drastically reduced their participation. Not sure I would go so far as to equate that with anything Staff or the Moderators have done. I tend to think people move on.\n\nwin11.shading291:\n\n> kissu has been banned\n\nI think the ban expired at the start of the month. Probably just decided he did not want to participate anymore.",
