A First Look at the EU Age Verification App

What’s a little confusing to me is that Von der Leyen refers to ‘the app’, but in other news stories I get the sense that each EU country is expected to create and implement their own version of this app. I also wonder if these country-specific apps will be bound by the same open source development as the core EU app currently is.
