Some credit card companies offer virtual numbers (not great but better I suppose). Though, in my experience it’s rare for companies to store your entire credit card number or too many details. Of all of the payment platforms I’ve worked on for e-commerce, we strictly never stored a full credit card number only the last 4 digits.
