Cheapest standalone home surveillance option? (Haven alternatives?)

I need a cheap and secure (stream/recordings only accessible to me) indoor home surveillance camera + microphone which automatically records for a period of time when triggered by movement or sound and saves the recording locally with encryption. Notifications, encrypted remote access, and encrypted cloud backups would be nice extras but I don’t think I can get that with my criteria.

A home server is too expensive for me so this would need to be a standalone device. I have an old Android so I considered Haven but it has been broken for years. On another thread I saw options for streaming from an Android but nothing which detects movement/sound and records locally. I am aware of Secluso but their pre-order products will ship in 4-6 months and I need a cheap solution in the meantime.
