What are the best AI options right now?

Curious if you end up finding a solution to your question? I’ve been using ChatGPT Plus and satisfied with what it does. But, after the fuss over their deal with the DoW in the US, I’m also reconsidering my option. Knowing that, for me, privacy isn’t going to be as strong of a factor as what they can deliver, I’m curious if any of the EU-based (or privacy respecting) AI chatbot is on par with the American ones like Gemini and Claude.
