"textContent": "I heard about this sketchy one called goblin cards. 350 dollar up front fee. Based in Mexico iirc.\n\nI suppose you don’t have the card directly linked to you and it would be an easy way to spend Monero, but it certainly is not anonymous because each purchase is linked to the same card. So you would lose anonymity the second you use it under cctv or your address.\n\nAdditionally you have to worry about using residential IPs because payments are blocked on known anonymizing connections. And then you have to worry about being the only traffic and nobody to blend in on with that IP. Not to mention browsers.\n\nI may be confusing your goals of privacy vs anonymity vs just using Monero, but either way it is very hard with fiat payments.\n\nOverall, I think cakepay is a better solution and if you have to you could pay someone to spend for you with cash irl or Monero on xmrbazaar. Both ways allows another person to use a credit card for you.\n\nEdit: wanted to take the opportunity to promote this excellent post by SimpleX (a messenger that gives excellent real anonymity). Because by definition a credit card is not anonymous because it has a constant identifier. Why we are building SimpleX Network",
