New Google TV with new google account + VPN or without Internet access

You are talking to someone who doesn’t know what Android TV is or why anyone would want it. The OP didn’t say anything about Netflix and I’m not sure when this became a debate. My solution would be a RasPi or old PC. If it can’t do proprietary services then I can live without.
