  "textContent": "I think the goal of the research project was to have a RNG be quantum (so that it is truly random rather than pseudorandom) and, more importantly, verifiable/traceable (so that it’s output is verified to be quantum and untampered with). The lavarand would be neither of those. I’m not a physicist or a cryptologist though, so I can’t speak on how novel this research is. Seems neat though.",
