  "textContent": "<p>At least five people were killed and 19 others were injured in shootings across Chicago since Friday afternoon.</p><p>Among those injured, 12 people were wounded in a mass shooting in Roseland on the South Side. Chicago police said a large crowd had gathered in the 200 block of West 95th Street when a red SUV drove by and two people inside opened fire shortly after 11 p.m. Friday.</p><p>When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old woman with two gunshot wounds to her back. She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. A 44-year-old man suffered four graze wounds and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center. They were in good condition, police said.</p><p>At least 10 others were also injured, with the victims ranging between 17 and 47 years old:</p><ul class=\"rte2-style-ul\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;\" id=\"rte-5d2e2600-6cb2-11f1-a3e0-c1b344cd28d1\"><li>A 38-year-old woman suffered graze wounds to the body and self-transported to Little Company of Mary Hospital in fair condition.</li><li>A 47-year-old man was shot in the knee and self- transported to Little Company of Mary Hospital in fair condition.</li><li>A 36-year-old woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and self-transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition.</li><li>A 32-year-old man was shot in the head and self-transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition.</li><li>A 32-year-old woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and self-transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition. </li><li>A 17-year-old boy was shot in the thigh and self-transported to Trinity Hospital in critical condition. </li><li>A 22-year-old woman was shot in the thigh and self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition.</li><li>A 30-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and self-transported to Trinity Hospital in fair condition.</li><li>A 27-year-old man was shot multiple times in the body and self-transported to Trinity Hospital in fair condition. </li><li>A 26-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.<br></li></ul><p>Hours earlier, a man was standing on the sidewalk in the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2026/06/19/man-fatally-shot-west-pullman-another-injured\" target=\"_blank\" >11900 block of South Michigan Avenue</a> when an SUV drove by and opened fire around 5:15 p.m. The man, 29, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the face and body and was taken to Roseland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. A 70-year-old man who was nearby was also shot. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in stable condition.</p><p>A 33-year-old man was found shot to death around 8:55 p.m. in the 3700 block of West 30th Street. He was shot several times and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.</p><p>A man, 34, was found just before 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Latrobe Avenue with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.</p><p>Less than an hour later, officers found a 50-year-old man shot in the chest in the first block of West 75th Street. The man was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.</p><p>A 37-year-old man was killed early Saturday in the 500 block of West 38th Street. The man was found around 12:15 a.m. with a gunshot wound in the neck. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.</p><p>At least six other people were wounded in shootings since 5 p.m. Friday.<br></p>",
