  "textContent": "<p>A man was fatally shot in Brighton Park Sunday evening, police said.</p><p>The man, 40, was in a vehicle in the 3800 block of South California Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when someone approached and fired shots, according to Chicago police.</p><p>The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.</p><p>No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.<br></p>",
