  "textContent": "<p>A man died after falling from a bridge in the Loop Sunday evening, according to Chicago police.</p><p>Police and paramedics responded to a call in the 100 block of East Jackson Boulevard at 6:55 p.m. and found Fernando Velazquez Contreras, 31, in the Chicago River unresponsive, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office. </p><p>Contreras, of the 1900 block of West 17th Street, was taken to Northwestern Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:25 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office. </p><p>An autopsy is scheduled. </p><p>Area 3 detectives are investigating.<br></p>",
