  "textContent": "<p>The death of a construction worker in Palatine Wednesday afternoon is currently under investigation, according to Palatine police.</p><p>First responders arrived at a call in the 400 block of West Mahogany Court about a construction worker who had fallen from a roof at 3:48 p.m., Palatine police said. A 40-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene, where he was pronounced dead.</p><p>The incident is under investigation by the Palatine Police Department, the Palatine Fire Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.</p>",
