  "textContent": "<p>The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox\" >White Sox</a> said Thursday that the fan who fell into the Royals' bullpen during the game Wednesday was doing well. </p><p>\"We reached out to the fan to check on his well-being, and his friend was able to share a positive report,\" the Sox said in a statement. \"The entire White Sox organization and clubhouse are wishing him a full and speedy recovery.\"</p><p>The game was delayed in the fourth inning to treat the fan who had fallen into the bullpen beyond the right-field wall. He was taken from the stadium on a stretcher and transported to a hospital for more treatment.</p><p>The fan fell in the bottom of the third inning, but the game continued until a stadium employee notified umpire crew chief Chris Conroy. Sox manager Will Venable and Royals manager Matt Quatraro were notified of the situation.</p><p>The outfield wall at Rate Field is 8 feet high, and the height from which the fan fell is several feet higher.
