"textContent": "<p>An 18-year-old high school senior and a 38-year-old man were killed Thursday night while driving in the Garfield Park neighborhood. </p><p>The teen and a 38-year-old man were in a southbound white Honda Civic in the 200 block of North Homan Avenue when a grey SUV pulled alongside them and someone inside opened fire, police said. </p><p>The unidentified teen, who was in a back seat, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said. </p><p>The teen was a senior at Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School, 5088 W. Jackson Blvd., according to a police report. School spokesman Mike Smith declined to share further details, as they are trying to consoling his family and providing support for his classmates.</p><p>The driver also suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the medical examiner's office.</p><p>The shooter fled in the SUV, a Hyundai Tucson, which was found later on fire in the 900 block of North Lawler Avenue, police said. </p><p>No other injuries were reported and no one has been arrested.</p><p>Area 4 Detectives are investigating.<br></p>",
