6 hurt in Des Plaines blaze

Six people suffered injuries in an apartment fire in Des Plaines early Wednesday morning, according to multiple media reports.

Des Plaines fire officials have yet to release any details about the blaze at the three-story apartment complex on the 1200 block of Harding Avenue.

The extent of injuries was unknown, but witnesses reported hearing an explosion before the fire erupted, according to a WGN news report.
