  "textContent": "<p>The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago-sky\" target=\"_blank\" >Sky</a> waived their 2025 second-round draft picks: Maddy Westbeld (No. 16) and Aicha Coulibaly (No. 22).</p><p>In her rookie season, Westbeld averaged 4.1 points in 13.6 minutes while shooting 39.5% from 3. Coulibaly did not join the team last season because she was recovering from an ACL injury, but had a strong training camp.</p><p>Both players were signed to rookie contracts and could still qualify for the team's two development spots. But first they must clear waivers, meaning no other team claims their contracts in the next 48 hours.</p><p>The Sky also <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago-sky/2026/05/04/sky-waive-guard-hailey-van-lith\" >waived point guard Hailey Van Lith</a> earlier Monday.</p><p>With the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago-sky/2026/05/04/sky-sign-point-guard-natasha-cloud\" >addition of veteran point guard Natasha Cloud, </a>the Sky now have 12 players on the roster (the maximum). Guard Sydney Taylor is the last training camp invitee standing.
