  "textContent": "<p>A man is being questioned by police after his lawyer alerted police that a woman had been strangled and his client wanted to turn himself in after the Monday killing in a Greater Grand Crossing apartment Monday night, according to police. </p><p>No charges have been announced by police, who are interviewing a person of interest as of Wednesday morning, police said. </p><p>A Tuesday autopsy determined Terriyanna Johnson, 29, who was found around 8:40 p.m. Monday inside an apartment at 524 E. 72nd St., died of strangulation and her death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. </p><p>Police learned of Johnson's killing when they got a call from a criminal defense attorney who said there was a dead person at the location and his client wanted to turn himself in, according to police reports obtained by the Sun-Times. </p><p>First responders forced themselves into the home and found Johnson on the bedroom floor covered in a blanket, officials said. A small amount of blood was found near her head and she had a bruise on her upper left arm, according to the reports. </p><p>Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:01 p.m. Monday, authorities said. </p><p>Area 1 detectives are investigating.</p>",
