  "textContent": "<p>The spring bridge lift schedule resumes Wednesday along the Chicago River. </p><p>The 27 bridges along the Chicago River and its south branch will lift twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation. The lift schedule stops June 24 and resumes in the fall.</p><p>Each bridge from the Ashland Avenue bridge on the south branch to DuSable Lake Shore Drive is lifted one at a time for 8 to 12 minutes, according to CDOT. The lifts typically begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and 8 a.m. on Saturdays. </p>",
