Transformer blows at Kluczynski building in Loop: CFD

No one was injured when a ComEd transformer blew on the 40th floor of the Kluczynski Federal Building in the Loop Monday morning, a spokesperson with the fire department confirmed.
The situation was under control, though some elevators were not working, as of about 8:10 a.m. at the high-rise building, located at 230 S. Dearborn St., fire officials said.
There were people in the building, though none of them were injured, according to the fire department.
A ComEd spokesperson could not immediately be reached.
