"textContent": "<p>Attendees at Rate Field were left in a stunned silence before Wednesday’s White Sox game when Gerald Chaney collapsed while singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” on Jackie Robinson Day.</p><p>Chaney, a longtime national anthem performer and beloved ballpark presence, was alert as paramedics treated him on the field. I think everyone did a great job in responding and did the best to make sure he was alright. So, really good news to hear that he is alright.”</p><p>Sox starter Sean Burke was warming up when the medical emergency unfolded.</p><p>“They said he's doing well at the hospital now, so hopefully he's going to make a full recovery from that,” Burke said. \"I was just trying to make sure he was all good, first and foremost.”</p>",
