  "textContent": "<p>A 17-year-old boy was fatally hit by a CTA train Tuesday morning in the Rogers Park neighborhood, authorities said. </p><p>Police were called about 8:15 a.m. to the Jarvis station, 1523 W. Jarvis Ave., for the boy who was hit by an oncoming train, Chicago police said, adding he was pronounced dead on the scene. </p><p>Chicago fire department paramedics also responded to the victim, who was on the tracks, according to a spokesperson. Another person was taken to an area hospital in good condition, according to the spokesperson, who had no further information immediately.</p><p>In a social media post, Ald. Maria Hadden (49th), said the person hit by the train had died by suicide.</p><p>A teenager has died by suicide this morning at the Jarvis L Station, Hadden's post said. \"This is a tragedy that hurts our whole community. Our condolences to their family and friends,\" Hadden said in the post. </p><p>The situation has caused delays and a service disruption along the Red Line in the area, according to the CTA, which said no trains were running between the Howard and Thorndale stops. </p><p>An autopsy is scheduled and Area 3 detectives are investigating. <br></p>",
