"textContent": "<p>A fire that killed 10-year-old London Woodard in Washington Heights Monday was caused by electrical issues, according to Chicago police. </p><p>The fire erupted just before 3:30 a.m. in the main level of his home in the 10400 block of South Green Street. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/boy-10-killed-in-washington-heights-fire-dreamed-of-playing-in-nba-to-take-care-of-older-brother\" target=\"_blank\" >London Woodard</a> was found in the house and was taken to Roseland Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. </p><p>An 18-year-old was also pulled out of the home and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.</p><p>Preliminary investigation determined the cause of the fire was caused by electrical issues, according to a police report, which said the blaze was \"non-criminal.\"</p><p>“He was a joy to be around,” recalled London's uncle Robert Harris Jr.. “He was always laughing and playing.”<br></p>",
